Full Time Opportunity

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Performs light maintenance on plumbing fixtures.

Replaces light bulbs, sockets, switches, ballasts, fixtures.

Operates sewer machines.

Picks up parts and supplies.

Replaces motors, belts and filters.

Preventive maintenance of building and equipment as well as resident equipment.

Assists with ice and snow removal from parking lot and walkways.

Assists in setup for functions throughout the community.

Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Completes tasks safely following proper procedures and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

Supports administrative policy and Kansas Masonic Home philosophy at all times to ensure smooth relationships with staff, residents and visitors.

Strives to provide genuine home to residents by providing as much choice as possible, focusing on residents’ preferences while putting relationships ahead of tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. At least one (1) year experience in maintenance.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, speak, write, and follow simple oral and written instructions.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Drivers License
